Dear Mt Martha Netball Club players and families

The club committee had opportunity to meet via videoconference late last week to discuss the 2020 playing year.

As you may be aware Netball Victoria has suspended all community netball until the 31st May. The stage 3 restrictions recently announced by the Victorian State Government also prohibit any training.

It is possible, if restrictions are lifted, that MPNA would be able to host a single season of netball from June. With this in mind, the committee has decided to postpone any further decision regarding 2020 until the end of May.

Coaches have been encouraged to maintain contact with teams to support at home coaching. This may involve a session plan for players (and families) to work through or being directed to useful resources available on the internet.

The club is looking to start a closed Facebook group - this will be a place that the club's community can share positive stories, fun stuff, fantastic videos (only if you want to) and support each other.
